Summer Event - TC Garden Supper 2005

GARDEN SUPPER and VIZ-a-VIZ THEATRE PRESENTATION - Saturday 11th June, at 7pm.

Therfield Chapel will be holding a Garden Supper at 7pm followed by a drama and multi-media presentation on Saturday 11th June, 2005.

After the supper Viz-a-Viz will present their 'More to Life' programme - a unique blend of video, theatre, music and down-to-earth chat - from 8pm to 9.30pm, giving the opportunity to consider the deeper questions of life and where God may fit in.

About the group Viz-a-Viz:
Dennis Pethers is the founder and general director of Viz-A-Viz.
Dennis presents and speaks in the 'More to Life' show and is an international evangelist well known for communicating the gospel effectively to people of all ages.

The show features Envizage Theatre Company who perform throughout the evening.

Their theatre is a moving portrayal of Jessica as she goes through life’s various stages.
In addition, the large screen video and professional sound and lighting create a high quality and varied production.

Find More to Life. . . . . . . No, really

'Find true meaning by finding the true you', 'Wait for the aliens from Mars, they have the answer', 'Lose your entire bodyweight, again, in time for the weekend'. Countless phrases and slogans are fired at us to help us find real meaning in our lives but many of us just get fed up of the 'self help' products that are of no help when they clutter our living rooms.

The "More to Life" event is created by Christian organisation, Viz-A-Viz, and includes video, live music, chat and theatre. The theatre is a light hearted, yet thought provoking portrayal of life through the eyes of a daughter, her father and husband. Dennis Pethers, who presents the event, explains

"Often we are so busy living we don't get a chance to think about life. This presentation is entertaining and moving, people laugh and cry and in the midst of it all think about the questions we are often too busy to consider."

Paul Rydon, a local organiser of the event, comments:
"We have invited the "More to Life" event to Therfield as part of their tour because we know it doesn't preach at people. Instead it gives them the opportunity to think about the deeper questions of life and where God may fit in. People can reflect on this and then be free to make up their own minds."
