TEENAGERS - What every parent has to know by Rob Parsons
All who have read it are so enthusiastic about this book....
Quote from the back cover - “This incredible book will save not just our relationships with our children, but our sanity. And the really lucky ones will discover it before their kids are teenagers.”
a) It reassures parents of teenagers that they are not alone.
b) It gives insight into why teenagers act the way they do.
c) Deals with the big issues: sex, drugs, self-esteem etc...
Rob Parsons says he is not under any illusion that reading this book will solve all your problems but he hopes that there will be something in it to help. Even if you don’t have teenagers of your own you may know someone who would benefit from the loan of this book.

ONCE AN ADDICT Barry Woodward, with Andrew Chamberlain
The fascinating true story of one man’s escape from the murky drugs underworld. We are introduced to some extraordinary characters and the lengths to which some of them will go to get their next ‘fix’.
Barry’s 14-year addiction, a string of broken relationships and the threat of HIV looming, the outlook appeared very bleak.
Then three extraordinary encounters changed his life forever... Barry and his wife live in Manchester. He is a speaker and the founder and director of Proclaim Trust.

THE BIG STORY - What actually happens in the Bible by Nick Page
This book is about what happens in God’s amazing book. From the creation of the universe to the end of the world, this retells the whole biblical narrative in fifty bite-size chunks. This is the ultimate family saga and the best of all blockbusters.
Fully illustrated, peppered with explanatory information and written with Nick’s trademark humour and insight.
This may not be for you, but if you know a new Christian or someone unfamiliar with the contents of the Bible, it could be useful.
